Review
OMG! I just finished this recently. It's hilarious, cute, sexy, fun, and I could fling adjectives and superlatives all over about it, but you really should see for yourself. It's got a great protagonist, involved in a M/M romance that develops along with the story. I love the premise, I love the characters, and I love the universe in which it all exists. It's one of those AUs where the general populace is blissfully unaware that vampires, werewolves, orcs, trolls, goblins, dwarves (the fairytale kind), and many other paranormal/mythological beings really exist. It's done in a very tongue-in-cheek, irreverent way, not at all grim or dark, which I appreciated so much. Those types are okay now and then, but I'm one of those who needs a certain amount of fun/humor/light-heartedness in my media diet or I wither and get depressed. So this is a perfect book to perk me right up! I can't recommend it enough. Great wordcrafting and some delightful chibi-style art for the chapter headings. Check it out, if any of this sounds good to you.
