This is the 6th book in the Gemini Group series. It is a beautiful second chance romance where we are reminded that all choices have consequences and pasts cannot be changed only accepted. Eight years ago Holden had it all, a beautiful forever love with Charleigh, strong friendships and a military career. But Holden threw Charliegh and his happiness away because of a choice that he thought was selfless and one drunken night leads to Charleigh being pregnant and married to Holden’s teammate, Paul. Paul dies in battle before Charleigh’s daughter Faith is born asking Holden to take care of Charleigh and Faith with his dying breath. Despite the passage of 8 years, Charleigh and Holden have never got back together even though they have never stopped loving each other. After Holden is shot, Charleigh moves to be closer to him to see if they can get back what they always should have had. The journey to Holden and Charleigh’s HEA is a twisted and winding path full of pain and redemption. They will both have to finally deal with their painful past in order to find a future together as a family. This book has everything - laughter, tears, fan your face steam, strong friendships, family bonds, fear, betrayal, and so much love.
