I am enjoying this new and darker series from Kristy Marie. The Fallen Kings of Eden is about four men who are not blood-related but consider themselves brothers since they were all saved by Judge Enoch. They have all been in his court for some wrongdoing they were not guilty of doing.A Vengeful Occasion is Tobias' story. He was accused of murdering his wife, Spencer, on their wedding night. After he was found not guilty, Tobias became a successful lawyer. One night, he is called to an accident that involves one of his high-paying clients. He comes face to face with his supposed deceased wife, but she runs away from the accident scene. Who would have thought he would have seen her again 12 years later?Tobias goes all out to find her again, trying to understand what happened that night. Seeing her, though, he realises his love for her never left. Will Tobias and Spencer discover whether what they had 12 years ago was true?
